“Sometimes, to our dismay, we find that we have been living someone else’s life, that their values have and are directing our choices. While this life we are leading never quite feels right, it seems to be the only alternative. Even when we win the applause of others, we secretly feel fraudulent.”
James Hollis
There are times in life we face challenges and experience periods of suffering, uncertainty and confusion.
Having someone trained to support you in understanding, coping and overcoming difficulties, struggles and traumas offers opportunities to move towards more awareness, freedom, integration, authenticity and empowerment.
I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and considerate space that helps you fell a ease to explore the issues and concerns in your life.
Probably the most important thing is that you meet someone who you can trust and get along with.
Hopefully this site will give you some sense of me as a person, as well as information about my training and approach.
I am a BACP registered therapist in private practice in Ealing, West London, W5.
I can facilitate the exploration of various topics including but not limited to:
- the connection between the body and mind
- diversity which may include culture, race, gender and sexuality
- trauma and abuse occurred in childhood or passed down the generations
- the transpersonal
- psychedelic integration
- loss and grief
I work in an integrative and client centered way. My core training is in Psychosynthesis. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and a Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy awarded by The Grove and accredited by COSRT at level 5; however, I draw on a variety of perspectives to tailor my approach to the individual.
I offer 50 minute in-person and online sessions in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
I offer 50 minute in-person and online sessions in English and Brazilian Portuguese on a short-term or ongoing basis.
I have a background in teaching, mental health support and complementary therapies in the U.K. and abroad.
Previously I worked for a charity as a mental health support worker and saw therapy clients for the Psychosynthesis Trust and Ealing Abbey Counselling Services.
Ethical & Legal Considerations
The use of psychedelic substances is currently illegal in the UK. Please do not contact me with requests for illegal psychedelic assisted work. I offer preparation and integration support only for harm reduction purposes. I do not support or encourage the use of illicit substances in unregulated and illegal frameworks.

Online Therapy Sessions
Making the most out of your Online Counselling Session:
You may find helpful to:
- Make sure you have a device that will work well. A desk/laptop computer or tablet, ideally with external speakers or wireless earbuds. (If you don’t have external speakers or earbuds, your device’s speakers will work fine, the audio will just be more limited).
- Your device should have a microphone and camera. The built-in ones are fine.
- Test the technology, your equipment and internet connection.
- Be familiar with the app you will be using.
- Choose and set up a private space for yourself – somewhere you will feel comfortable and will be uninterrupted for our time together.
- Arrange the space to be calming and welcoming for you. That might mean sweeping, adjusting lighting, draping a cloth over distracting items, clearing a space, etc.
- Have a comfortable position and chair you can sit on straight.
- Have your device at eye-level.
- Sit with the light (sunlight) facing you.
- Turn off your cell phone and computer notifications and close other apps and windows.
- Focus on your therapist rather than your own image.
- Have something in the room that you can focus on and that makes you feel safe, if you’re finding your session difficult.
- Have your water bottle filled and available.
- Take time out after your session to ground yourself.

Focused Attention and Intention
PREPARATION:
In a quiet and warm room, wearing loose and comfortable clothing, having unrestricted breathing
POSTURE:
Sitting
In a upright dining room style chair ideally
Sit towards the front edge of the chair, not leaning back into the chair
Keep your feet about "two feet" (61 cm) apart and back straight
(A good triangular base between your feet and base of spine)
Remove shoes for a very grounding effect
Hold head up straight and drop chin about "one inch" 3 cm to take any tension out of the cervical spine area
Keep the nose in line with the navel and ears in line with the shoulders;
Eyes remaining open, just gazing down at the ground, about 3 feet / 92 cm in front of you. This helps you to remain in the "here and now" and prevents you from daydreaming or becoming drowsy.
Lying on your back
(a restorative position for the spine)
with your head on a few paperback books, knees up, with feet flat on the floor
keep knees and feet a comfortable width apart
Once lying down, placing arms beside your body with palms facing up or hands on abdomen so that they are not touching each other
P.S. Suggestions may vary slightly depending on the exercise.
Mind & Thoughts
2 minutes in nature
Many of us were brought up in a way that values and focus on our intellect, rationality and practical aspects of living to the point of becoming restricted or dominated by them.
This short video is an invitation to focus our attention on this aspect of how we experience life and become more aware of it, examining its qualities while maintaining the point of the observer and recognising that the observer is not that which they observe.
